Game 1: 9:15am Lunch: 11:30am Game 2: 12:30pm Prizes: 2:45pm

Registration:  is on an individual basis by rated position and is limited to the first 10 entrants for each position.

Registrants beyond the first 10 will be placed on a spares list.  Registrants may be adjusted up/down one ranking to fill vacancies. Full registration is capped at 40 players.

Entry Fee: $100 per team ($25 per player) collected by the Vice and paid at registration on day of event. Check-in 30 minutes pre-game time for fee and rules of play review.  Complimentary coffee & cinnamon bites.

Teams: will be created utilizing official Men’s Day Section position rankings with team adjustments made for competitive equity.

Games Rules of Play: This bonspiel is a 2-game event.  Games are 8 ends with a 6-end minimum. Do not start an end after 1 hour 50 minutes and by the time posted.  Points recorded after 6 ends.  Play ends 7 and 8 for the win/loss/tie. Five rock free guard zone in effect.  

Tied Games: Ties are ties.  

Vices post final end score. Record results with convenor. 

Scoring: Win: 10.  Loss: 0.  Tie: 5.  Ends: 2.  Blank: 1.  Rocks: 1 per/10 max.

Rankings Game 2:  1st/3rd; 2nd/4th; 5th/7th, 6th/8th; 9th/10th.

Ties for team standings: Resolved by using The Tie-Breaker.

Prizes:  Awarded to top 5 teams by total points over 2 games.

The Tie-Breaker:  At the end of the first game the vice and second of each team will deliver one rock to the glass with one sweeper. Vice throws the out-turn and the second throws the in-turn. Points earned are used to break ties in seeding for second game and, if needed, final standings.
Tie-Breaker Scoring System:  Rock stops in contact with the button – 5 points; in contact with 4 foot – 4 points; in contact with 8 foot – 3 points; in contact with 12 foot – 2 points; In play but not touching rings – 1 point; Out of play – 0 points.
