MEN’S DAY “SKINS” SPIEL 2

DATE: Jan. 9th – 1:15 p.m. Arrive to register no later than 12:45 p.m.

Entry Fee - $10 per player.   Bar snack platters after the game

 Vice to collect fees, register team, draw for ice

Teams are created by the MDS committee based on club ranking

RULES OF PLAY

Game will be 7 ends 

5 rock rule, and all standard curling rules apply

Spin for hammer - winner of spin with choice

TO WIN A SKIN

Team with hammer must score 2 or more points to win the skin

Team without hammer simply needs to steal 1 point or more to win the skin

If neither team wins the skin, the end is a blank and the skin carries over 

to the next end

HAMMER

If a team wins the end/skin the hammer goes to the other team

If no team wins the end, the hammer goes to the other team

SCORING

Ends 1 and 2 are worth 1 point, payout is $4/$1 per player

Ends 3 and 4 are worth 2 points, payout is $8/$2 per player

Ends 5 and 6 are worth 4 points, payout is $16/$4 per player

End 7 is worth 6 points, payout is $24/$6 per player

At the end of 7 ends or if time has expired and there are still skins to be awarded, draw to the button, with sweeping, rock thrown by any play
