This is a 2-game bonspiel

 Tuesday, January 7^th.

Game 1:  11:00 a.m.    Lunch: 12:45 p.m.   Game 2: 1:15 p.m.   Prizes 2:45 p.m.          

Registration Fee:  $20.00.     Vice to collect fees and register team.

Registration will be limited to the first 40 entrants.

Rules of Play:  These will be 6 end games.   The skip will play in skip’s position for the whole game.

The lead, second and vice will move one position forward at the start of the third and fifth ends of each game.  At the beginning of the 3rd end, the lead will play as second, the second will play as vice and the vice will play as lead and so forth.

Games:  The game time allotment is 1 hour 30 minutes.  At game end scoreboard will be photographed to record the scores. Five rock free guard zone rule applies. Game Ties will not be broken.  Standard curling rules apply.

Scoring: Win: 10; Tie: 5; Loss: 0; Ends: 2; Rocks: 1 point to max 10.  Ties in team rankings determined by “The Tiebreaker”.

“The Tie-Breaker Rule”:  At the end of the first game the skip of each team will deliver two rocks (one in-turn/one out-turn) to the glass with one sweeper. The points earned will be used to break ties in standings.

Tie-Breaker Scoring System:  Rock stops in contact with the button – 5 points; in contact with 4 foot – 4 points; in contact with 8 foot – 3 points; in contact with 12 foot – 2 points; In play but not touching rings – 1 point; Out of play – 0 points.

Winning teams: Top 5 teams ranked by total points earned over 2 games.
