The Burlington Curling Club is getting ready for the Fall 2026 Session of our Learn to Curl program. You are getting this e-mail as you have previously indicated an interest in our Learn to Curl program and we would like to begin confirming spots.
The Learn to Curl program will take place Sundays in October and November at either 1:15pm or 3:15 pm each session. Full dates and times for the program are listed below.
The cost for the program is $140.00 +HST ($158.20) per person. All you need to get started are some warm clothes with a bit of stretch to them and a pair of clean, rubber-soled running shoes to change into at the club before going on the ice. You will receive your own pair of grippers to keep when you start. We have sliding tape, brooms, stabilizers, and delivery sticks available for you to use. If you want to continue beyond the Learn to Curl program you will want to have your own equipment.
We have volunteer coaches on the ice each week that will start with teaching you the basics of the game including safety, etiquette, delivering a stone, sweeping, and strategy. After the first couple instruction sessions where you will get to develop your skills, they will help you get into games and help coach you through the games as you play.
We are looking to confirm spots in the program now. We have room for 42 spots in this winter session so be part of the first 44-46 on our list. If you could confirm whether you would still like a spot in this program it would be appreciated, and then Paula, our Office Manager, will invoice you for the program. Even if you can't participate, a simple reply saying so will help so we can contact the next person on the list.
